About the job

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to oversee cash flow, treasury operations, credit control, and financial planning. This role is responsible for ensuring the company’s financial stability, optimizing working capital, managing banking relationships, improving financial processes through automation, and leading a high-performing finance team to support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts, manage liquidity, and oversee the company’s working capital.
  • Monitor collections, assess credit risks, and ensure accounts receivable (AR) targets are achieved.
  • Manage payment processes, financial transactions, banking relationships, and cash, loan, and deposit activities.
  • Coordinate with banks, prepare financing documents, and manage credit facilities and loan agreements.
  • Strengthen internal controls, manage financial risks, and support internal and external audit processes.
  • Improve financial workflows by implementing AI, automation, and ERP system enhancements.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, set KPIs, provide coaching, and collaborate with Sales, Accounting, and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5–10 years of experience in Finance, particularly in Treasury, Cash Flow Management, and Credit Control.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cash Flow Management, Treasury Management, Financial Analysis, Banking Facilities, Internal Controls, and ERP Systems.
  • Strong skills in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), problem-solving, and negotiation.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, Power BI/Dashboard tools, and ERP systems.
  • Experience in Technology, SaaS, Digital Platform, or Service businesses will be an advantage.
